Frequently Asked Questions
How soon can I get an appointment?
We guarantee you’ll be seen within 72 business hours of contacting us. For urgent issues, same-day appointments may be available.
What happens during my first visit?
You’ll meet with Dr. Khalil Masabni, who will review your symptoms and medical history. In most cases, we’ll perform vascular imaging the same day to provide a diagnosis and treatment plan without delay.
Do I need a referral to schedule a consultation?
No referral is necessary. You can call us directly or book online. If you’re referred by another doctor, we’re happy to coordinate care.
What types of conditions do you treat?
We treat a wide range of vascular issues including blocked arteries, varicose veins, aneurysms, dialysis access problems, vascular erectile dysfunction, and cosmetic vein concerns.
Is imaging done at the same location as my consultation?
Yes. Our state-of-the-art vascular center includes full in-office imaging capabilities—like ultrasound, MRI/MRA, and cavernosography—so you don’t have to go elsewhere for testing.
What if I need a procedure—how soon can it be done?
If a procedure is needed, we typically schedule it within a few days. You’ll never wait weeks, and everything is handled directly by our staff, in our facility.
Do you perform procedures in the office or at a hospital?
Most procedures are safely and comfortably performed in our clinic, avoiding hospital delays and costs. For more complex cases, Dr. Masabni personally performs surgery at top-tier affiliated hospitals.
Can you handle urgent vascular issues like blocked dialysis access?
Yes. We offer same-day interventions for urgent issues like clotted dialysis fistulas or grafts, so you don’t miss critical treatment or end up in the ER.
Are the procedures painful? Will I be sedated?
Our minimally invasive procedures are done with local anesthesia and mild sedation if needed. Most patients report little to no discomfort and are surprised by how quick and gentle the experience is.
How long is the recovery time after a procedure?
Most patients go home the same day and resume regular activities within 24–48 hours, depending on the procedure. We’ll give you clear post-op instructions and follow-up care.
Is it safe to have procedures done outside a hospital?
Yes. Our clinic follows the highest standards of safety and sterilization. You’ll receive hospital-quality care from a board-certified vascular surgeon—without the stress, delay, or exposure to hospital environments.
Will I always see Dr. Masabni, or will I be passed around?
You’ll be cared for directly by Dr. Masabni from consultation through recovery. He performs every procedure himself and oversees your entire plan—so nothing gets missed.
Do you treat both medical and cosmetic vein problems?
Yes. We offer treatments for chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, spider veins, and other cosmetic issues using safe, effective, and minimally invasive techniques—right here in the office.
Do you accept insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans for medically necessary treatments. For elective or cosmetic procedures, we offer transparent pricing and self-pay options.
Why should I choose Vascular Clinic over other centers?
We offer faster access, same-day diagnostics, in-office treatments, and continuity of care from one of the nation’s few double board-certified vascular surgeons. Our focus is always on you—your time, your comfort, and your results.
